Sunday Experience

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel a little overwhelming — so here’s a quick snapshot of what you’ll find:  

• Arrive a little early and stop by our First Time Guest table in the courtyard. We’ll greet you, answer questions, and give you a small welcome gift -just our way of saying we’re glad you’re here.  

• Our gathering start times are 8:30 and 10:30 and each last about 75 minutes. We’ll sing a few songs, share a short welcome, hear a message from the Bible, and take communion together. (We celebrate communion every week. You’re welcome to participate if you follow Jesus, or simply observe if you prefer.)   

• Kids? We’ve got you covered. Our team will help you check them in to our safe, fun, age-appropriate classrooms.  

• Parking is easy — We’ve reserved a few spots for first-time guests.  We’d love to meet you! If you’d like, you can fill out our "Plan Your Visit" form so we’re ready to welcome you by name — but you’re just as welcome to show up on Sunday without it.  

Not at all! We welcome walk-ins and require no prior registration. Simply come as you are and join us for an inspiring Sunday experience. However, you are welcome to fill out our "Plan Your Visit" form so we know to expect you.

There’s no strict dress code—wear what makes you comfortable. Whether you prefer casual attire or something a bit more formal, you're welcome to express your personal style.

There are many ways to connect! Look for our “Next Steps” Table and chat with a member of our team. We’re happy to help you find the right fit for your journey.  

Table Groups  –  We call our small groups “Table Groups.” This is where we build community and foster deeper relationships with one another. These groups meet weekly for 10 week increments usually in the Spring and Fall. We list these groups on our website. If you are unsure which group is right for you, we’re happy to help you find the right fit.  

Foundations Class  –  If you’re new to faith, exploring what it means to follow Jesus, or just want a refresher on the basics, our Foundations Class is for you. In a relaxed, conversational setting, we’ll walk through the big picture of the Gospel, answer your questions, and help you take the next step in your spiritual journey. No pressure, no prior knowledge needed — just an open heart and a willingness to learn.  

Serving  –  Sundays happen because of amazing volunteers who give their time and energy to make church a warm, welcoming place. Whether it’s greeting guests on our Welcome Team, helping with set-up, or investing in kids in our classrooms, there’s a place for you to make a difference. Serving is a great way to meet people, grow in your faith, and be part of something bigger than yourself.  

Community Events  –  We love being part of our city and finding ways to serve it well. From connecting with neighbors at the Thursday Night Market to partnering with Little Chico Creek Elementary School to help create a safe, positive environment for students, we believe small acts of kindness can make a big impact. Join us as we share God’s love in practical ways — there’s always room for you to jump in.
