Risen Savior

In Mark 16:1–8, the women walked toward Jesus’ tomb carrying grief, questions, and one major concern: “Who will roll away the stone?” They didn’t have the answer—but they kept walking. And when they arrived, they discovered that God had already gone before them.
In this message, Jose Macias shares the hope found in the resurrection of Jesus and reminds us that just because we can’t see God working doesn’t mean He isn’t working. The empty tomb declares that sin is defeated, death is defeated, hope is alive, God’s grace is greater than our failures, and God is faithful to His promises.
Whatever “stone” you may be facing—regret, fear, guilt, brokenness, financial pressure, or something that simply feels impossible—keep walking toward Jesus. Sometimes God is already working in places you haven’t reached yet.
The women came expecting death and found life. Peter expected rejection and received grace. And the resurrection leaves each of us with a question:
If Jesus really rose from the dead, what are we going to do with that truth?
